Scholarship Recipients
Lindsay, from Oklahoma, comes from a family of six and is currently a sophomore at John Brown University in Arkansas. She is majoring in biochemistry and has currently gotten an 'A' in every class, despite carrying a rigorous premedical curriculum. Because of her stellar work in the honors program, she has been selected to present a paper at the Great Lakes Honors Conference in Oklahoma City.
She is felt to be " …a passionate student, a disciplined worker, a terrific leader, and an all-around good person." What is clearly impressive is that Lindsay’s teachers cannot say enough good things about her because of all that she has done in just one year of college! We are proud to have her as one of our grantees.
Lindsay plans a career in medicine or medical research.
