Scholarship Recipients
Megan is from California and an honors graduate of Gallaudet University. She grew up with a profound hearing loss in both ears, and is fluent in both ASL as well as in English. Since graduating from Gallaudet, she has decided she wants to get a masters degree in Speech Pathology, so she is going back to college to finish her prerequisites for graduate school. She ultimately wants to establish her own organization to help other people with hearing losses succeed. In the meantime, Megan has been involved with Starlight Starbright Children's Fund and the Make A Wish Foundation in Los Angeles, among other endeavors.
Megan comes with superb recommendations, both from her college days as well as from more recent contacts. She will be finishing her undergraduate courses at California State University at Long Beach.
