Evelyn graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle in Speech Language Pathology, and completed a gap year while working full-time as a behavior technician with autistic children. She will start grad school at Gallaudet in the fall of 2020 to pursue her Master's degree in Speech-Language pathology. Despite losing her hearing from meningitis as a younger child, she completed high school with an A-average in three years. A member of the national honor society, she also participated in sports, robotics, and drama extracurricular activities. Evelyn has a cochlear implant, which she received after recovering from meningitis.
