Celine is from California. Her fourth year at San Diego State University (SDSU) saw her begin her training as Resident Advisor (RA), and she earned a Diversity Awareness Certificate and served as a mentor to freshmen in their transition to SDSU, prepared and directed programs, and served as a liaison for the National Residence Hall Honorary. She was also selected to be a Research Assistant for an Audiology Research Lab with Dr. Laura Dreisbach-Hawe, that focuses on testing otoacoustic emissions in healthy newborn babies. During the summer of 2018 she studied abroad in Prague, Czech Republic. During the year, Celine serves as a Program Coordinator for the Student Ability Success Center on campus where she plans and executes campus-wide programs that promote inclusivity and acceptance. In March, she attended the 2019 American Academy of Audiology conference in Columbus, Ohio along with doctorate students. Celine will be applying to graduate school in the fall to receive her Doctorate in Audiology. She currently plans to become an audiologist and "pay it forward" as she puts it. Of note, she has a sister who also has a hearing loss.
