Jennifer graduated from California State University, Northridge, with a major in Child and Adolescent Development and a minor in Recreation Management. She is currently finishing her MA in Education with a focus on Bilingual ASL/English Teaching and Learning. She has Multiple Subject and Bilingual ASL/English California teacher credentials. She recently moved back to Michigan to be closer to my family, and is looking for job opportunities related to teaching deaf children, working with their families and teaching ASL at a college level. She's worked as a tutor for deaf and hard of hearing college students and a teacher assistant in public speaking for deaf and hard of hearing students as well. Born to deaf parents, Jennifer graduated from the Michigan School for the Deaf as salutatorian. She was involved in many activities including the Academic Bowl team, Drama Club, and the volleyball, basketball, and track teams. She was also class president, and on the yearbook staff for three years.
