Adrita graduated from RIT with a bachelor's degree computer engineering. She is currently in her second year of the Computer Interaction Masters program at RIT.

As a graduate research assistant in her Masters program, Adrita has contributed to the Perception, Language, and Attention in Youth (PLAY) lab at NTID under Dr. Rain Bosworth which aims to understand how early sensory experiences shape young DHH children’s visual, cognitive, and language abilities later in life.

Before starting her MS program, she used to work for the Department of Defense as a computer engineer in Philadelphia, PA.
