The Louise Tumarkin Zazove Foundation

The Foundation was officially established as a 501(c)3 entity in January 2003 to celebrate the life of Louise Tumarkin Zazove (1915-1994) and her support of the Deaf community and of higher education. Seven qualified applicants applied for tuition assistance in the first year, and two of those received scholarships.

Since then, the Foundation has supported over 58 grantees at colleges across the country. See below for links to more information about our namesake, our team, and our amazing grantees and alumni.
