Colin Colombo

West Virginia University

Colin is from West Virginia. He excelled academically across a wide range of disciplines and finished fourth in his class with a 3.85 high school GPA while taking on challenging courses such as AP Literature, AP Language, college chemistry, and calculus. His reputation as one who refuses to shy away from difficult course work has instilled the necessary foundation to ensure his success as he continues his education. Colin exhibited a high level of commitment toward his extra-curricular activities. He participated most notably in soccer, wrestling, and track throughout his time at South Harrison High School and was on the regional science bowl team and the student council. He won multiple awards for his athletic prowess on the soccer field as well as being selected for leadership programs such as representing his school at Boys State.

Colin's letters of support include statements like, "Colin is talented, caring, intuitive, dedicated, and focused in his pursuits. He is truly a stand-out individual who will impress everyone he meets."

Colin attended West Virginia University, a public, research-intensive university in Morgantown, focused on a career in engineering. He hopes to create new designs that will improve the quality of life for many people, in addition to sponsoring local non-profit organizations in the future.
