Trysta Lamarche

University of Maine

Trysta, from Massachusetts, comes to us with many accomplishments. She was in student council all four years of high school, as well as on the track and field team, including being captain her senior year. In addition, she was involved in numerous community activities while working various jobs throughout high school. She was awarded the Ronald Reagan Leadership Medal for demonstrating growth, perseverance, dedication, leadership and positive attitude throughout her 4 years of high school.
Trysta is in her second year at the University of Maine, where she’s carried a 3.7 GPA on the way to achieving her career goal to become an audiologist. She’s a member of the University’s Dance team, and plays a leading role in Camp Discover, the University’s camp for deaf and hard of hearing children. She’s been highlighted in numerous national publications and websites for her work and character, including the Cochlear Wire, the Clarke School for the Deaf Spotlight, and the University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital's Winter Ball among others.
