Lauren attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She is a graduate of Southside High School in Batesville, AR, and has two siblings who have a significant hearing loss as well. Lauren was involved in multiple school activities, including Spanish Club and Future Business Leaders of America. She competed in the state district competition in accounting, won her school's accounting award, and is an Arkansas Scholar.
