Mara graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in environmental science. She works as an international bicycle tour guide & spends non-work time exploring mountains and trails across New England. She has worked a range of jobs including bicycle tour guide, science educator, and renewable energy developer. While at Northeastern University, Mara studied abroad several times and was involved in leadership positions for multiple student organizations on campus, including the DivestNU fossil fuel divestment movement.
